Dripping Water Cave in Shaoshan is not only an important historical site of the Chinese revolution but also a place where the great leader Chairman Mao Zedong once secluded himself for rest and contemplation. Walking through this quiet valley, surrounded by towering mountains, one can almost hear the echoes of history.

In 1966, Chairman Mao spent a particularly significant period of his life here. Inside Building No.1 of Dripping Water Cave, he tirelessly reviewed documents and deliberated on national affairs late into the night. Today, this green-brick house has been transformed into an exhibition hall, showcasing Mao's daily life during his stay. Visitors can see his former office, bedroom, and personal items, gaining a closer look at the turbulent yet remarkable historical period.

Beyond its historical significance, Dripping Water Cave is also a stunning natural retreat. A crystal-clear stream meanders through the area, surrounded by lush greenery and the melodies of birds chirping, making it a paradise for hikers. Following the winding trails, visitors will come across Tiger Resting Hill, where two stone guardian tigers stand silently, seemingly telling the stories of the past.
