From the perspective of the overall design concept, the Madja Boarding House emphasizes the integration of nature and architecture, as well as the harmonious coexistence of public and private spaces. In this tropical city, the boarding house allows residents to enjoy the convenience of modern living while deeply experiencing the beauty of nature and the unique flavor of local culture through ingenious design.

从整体设计理念来看，玛德雅寄宿公寓强调自然与建筑的融合，以及公共空间与私人空间的和谐共生。在这个充满热带风情的城市，公寓通过巧妙的设计，让住户在享受现代居住便利的同时，也能深切感受到自然的美好与当地文化的独特韵味。

When you step into the apartment, the first thing that comes into view is the public space located in the center of the building, which is regarded as the 'heart' of the entire design. This public space has a transparent atrium from the second floor to the third floor. A tall tree is planted in the center of the atrium, which cleverly introduces natural elements into the room, instantly adding vitality to the entire space. The atrium is designed as a semi-outdoor space. The large openings on the facade are connected to the public area, which not only blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor, but also allows residents to fully enjoy the outdoor scenery and fresh air. At the same time, the skylight on the top not only brings sufficient natural light to the room, but also promotes air circulation. Through clever design, the skylight forms a 'chimney effect', hot air can be naturally discharged, and fresh air is continuously replenished from the openings on the facade, ensuring that the entire public space and every room connected to the atrium can have good ventilation and sufficient natural light. This semi-outdoor design concept allows birds to fly freely in the atrium, and residents seem to be in nature, greatly enhancing the perception and experience of space and nature.

步入公寓内部，首先映入眼帘的是位于建筑中心的公共空间，它被视为整个设计的 “心脏”。这个公共空间从二楼到三楼设有一个通透的中庭，一棵挺拔的树木种植在中庭中央，将自然元素巧妙地引入室内，瞬间为整个空间增添了生机与活力。中庭被设计成半户外空间，外立面的大面积开口与公共区域相连，不仅让室内外的界限变得模糊，还能让住户充分享受户外的景色和新鲜空气。同时，顶部的天窗不仅为室内带来充足的自然采光，还能促进空气的流通。通过巧妙的设计，天窗形成了 “烟囱效应”，热空气得以自然排出，而新鲜空气则从外立面的开口处不断补充进来，确保了整个公共空间以及与中庭相连的每一个房间都能拥有良好的通风和充足的自然光照。这种半户外的设计理念，让鸟儿可以自由地在中庭穿梭，住户仿佛置身于自然之中，极大地增强了对空间和自然的感知体验。

In terms of room design, considering the positioning and cost factors of the boarding house, the rooms are divided into two types: those with private toilets and those without. Although the room types vary, both focus on simplicity and practicality. The overall layout of the boarding house is ingenious. The main building is not directly connected to the ground. This design allows air to circulate freely under the building, effectively preventing moisture accumulation, especially in areas prone to dampness such as bathrooms. The protruding parts at the edges of the building are designed as bathrooms. This layout ensures that if there are any leaks in the bathrooms, they will not affect the rooms below, fully demonstrating the practicality and comprehensiveness of the design.

在房间设计方面，考虑到公寓的定位和成本因素，房间被分为带独立卫生间和不带独立卫生间两种类型。尽管房间类型有所差异，但都注重简约与实用。公寓的整体布局设计巧妙，建筑主体与地面并未直接相连，这样的设计使得空气能够在建筑下方自由流通，有效避免了湿气积聚，尤其是对卫生间等容易产生潮湿问题的区域起到了很好的防潮作用。建筑边缘突出的部分被设计为卫生间，这种布局可以确保卫生间一旦出现漏水等问题，不会对下方的房间造成影响，充分体现了设计的实用性和周全性。

There is no excessive and complex decoration, aiming to provide residents with a simple and comfortable living environment. The floors of the communal areas and rooms mostly use terrazzo materials. This material is not only beautiful and durable but also complements the overall minimalist style. The walls are mostly decorated with bricks. The natural texture of the bricks blends harmoniously with the surrounding environment, giving people a rustic and warm feeling. In the selection of furniture, practicality and comfort are emphasized to meet the daily needs of residents.

公寓的室外设计同样可圈可点。考虑到公寓位于人口密集的住宅区，为了避免给周边交通带来压力，公寓在一楼设置了一个宽敞的停车场。停车场与主路保持了一定的距离，这样住户在停车时不会对周边社区的正常交通造成干扰，充分体现了设计的人性化和对周边环境的尊重。

In the selection of building materials, the boarding house mainly uses bricks and terrazzo, combined with a concrete structure. The use of bricks not only conforms to the local architectural characteristics but also has a relatively low cost and good coordination with the surrounding environment. The concrete structure is built with small spans, eliminating the need for special construction techniques. This not only meets the functional requirements of the building but also controls costs. The choice of these materials is both cost - effective and can ensure the quality and aesthetics of the building.
