“你pass了！”面试后听到这句话，你该高兴？还是该开始投下一家公司？别急，其实英文里的pass可不止一个意思，关键要看上下文！
当pass做及物动词，有个意思特指“考试或面试通过、合格”。
1.成功完成考试或测试，达到或超过合格分数。
例句：
I passed the English proficiency test with a score of 90.
(我以 90 分的成绩通过了英语水平考试。)
She passed all her classes with flying colors.
(她所有科目都取得了优异成绩。)
2. 在面试中表现出色，获得晋级下一轮面试或工作机会的机会。

I didn’t pass the interview.
最直接的说法，适合初学者，也很清晰。
I didn’t get the job.
更常见于口语中，侧重结果（没被录用）。
例句：Unfortunately, I didn’t get the job I interviewed for last week.（很遗憾，我没拿到上周面试的那个工作。）
I failed the interview.
带有“失败”的语感，语气更重一些，不太常用于正式场合。
They turned me down.
比较口语化，意思是“他们拒绝了我”。
例句：I thought the interview went well, but they turned me down.

I wasn’t selected.
