I passed the English proficiency test with a score of 90.
She passed all her classes with flying colors.
I passed the first round of interviews and am now waiting to hear back about the second round.
She passed her job interview and was offered the position.
I passed the interview!
▶NOT KNOW 不知[V]
~(on something)to say that you do not know the answer to a question, especially during a QUIZ,不知道,过(回答竞赛题时的用语)
What's the capital of Peru?' 'I'll have to pass on that one.'
Who wrote 'Catch-22'?' 'Pass (= I don't know).'
▶NOT WANT 不要[V]
~(on something)to say that you do not want something that is offered to you,不要;免掉
例句:Thanks. I'm going to pass on dessert, if you don't mind.
He passed up the opportunity.
We’ll pass on this candidate.(我们不考虑这个候选人了。)
所以, 如果面试官说:“We’ll pass on you”,那不好意思,你被淘汰了!
I didn’t pass the interview.
I didn’t get the job.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get the job I interviewed for last week.(很遗憾,我没拿到上周面试的那个工作。)
I failed the interview.
They turned me down.
I thought the interview went well, but they turned me down.
I wasn’t selected.
Thank you for the opportunity, but I understand I wasn’t selected.
