In the free-spirited city of Surat, Gujarat, Cinnamon Sky, a 3,300-square-foot apartment, is the result of ingenuity and collaborative vision by Sachi Patel, principal designer at The Design Mist. More than just a home, this apartment is a serene haven that perfectly reflects the owner’s desire for a unique living experience.

The owner longed for a space where he could completely relax, and had clear ideas about the design style and color matching, hoping that his home could be away from the daily hustle and bustle. This seemingly simple but clear requirement became the cornerstone of the design company's initial design considerations, and it was committed to making each space both interconnected and unique.

业主渴望拥有一个能彻底放松身心的空间，在设计风格和色彩搭配上有着明确的设想，期望自家住宅能远离日常喧嚣。这看似简单却清晰的需求，成为设计公司初期设计考量的基石，致力于让每个空间既相互连通又独具特色。

The design process commenced with meticulous zoning and spatial planning. The private and public areas within the apartment were skillfully divided, creating an open and refined atmosphere. Concept presentations and mood boards played a crucial role in distilling the core themes. The designer focused on the overall harmony of the selected materials, integrating diverse textures within a unified color palette to create a serene and harmonious space.

设计流程从细致的分区和空间规划展开，巧妙划分公寓内的私密区域和公共区域，营造出开阔又不失精致大气的感觉。概念展示和情绪板在提炼核心主题方面发挥了关键作用。设计师聚焦于所选材料的整体协调性，在统一的材料色调中融入多样纹理，构建出宁静和谐的空间。

Entering the apartment, the custom grid-like veneer at the entrance immediately impresses. Passing through the entrance, you will arrive at the core area of the apartment - the interconnected living room, dining room and lounge area. The living room combines modern and classic elements, with the on-site wooden screen and the textured painted background wall complementing each other. The Statuario quartz TV cabinet with rare semi-circular edge details is cleverly integrated with the surrounding environment, and the groove details on the textured wall and the plywood grid partition add a sense of lines to the space. The warm-toned vintage armchair injects vitality into the overall soft-toned space, forming a sharp contrast.

踏入公寓，玄关处定制网格状的饰面板瞬间给人留下深刻印象。穿过玄关，便来到公寓的核心区域 —— 相互连通的客厅、餐厅和休闲区。客厅融合了现代与经典元素，现场制作的木质屏风和带有纹理的彩绘背景墙相得益彰。拥有罕见半圆边缘细节的 Statuario 石英电视柜与周围环境巧妙融合，纹理墙上的凹槽细节和胶合板网格隔断为空间增添了线条感。暖色调的复古扶手椅为整体色调柔和的空间注入活力，形成鲜明对比。

The versatile lounge area seamlessly connects to the living room, with acoustic fabric paneling and a sofa bed, transforming it into a multifunctional space. A striking artwork elevates the space, and sliding doors can be flexibly separated from the dining room as the family needs. The adjacent dining room continues the material and color style of the living room, with tapestry artwork, quartz-top dining table and tan chairs. A custom veneer console in the corner is paired with unique stone column details, which are low-key but eye-catching.

与客厅无缝衔接的多功能休闲区，配备吸音织物镶板和沙发床，摇身一变成为多功能空间。一幅引人注目的艺术品提升了空间格调，滑动门可根据家庭需求灵活决定是否将其与餐厅隔开。毗邻的餐厅延续了客厅的材料和色调风格，挂毯艺术品、石英台面餐桌和棕褐色椅子相得益彰。角落里定制的饰面板控制台搭配独特的石柱细节，低调却吸睛。

The kitchen was renovated and expanded to include a kitchen island and a larger washing area, making it more practical. The wooden countertop of the kitchen island is convenient for the family to enjoy simple meals, which fits the modern lifestyle. The kitchen adopts a modular design, with tall veneer cabinets and thermoplastic laminate drawers. The public wash area has also been modernized, with subway tiles and on-site cast wash basins, which are practical and beautiful.

厨房进行了土建改造，扩大空间后增设了厨房岛台和更大的洗涤区，实用性大大提升。厨房岛台的木质台面方便家人享用简餐，契合现代生活方式。厨房采用模块化设计，高大的饰面板橱柜和热塑层压抽屉一应俱全。公共洗手区也进行了现代化升级，铺设地铁砖并安装现场浇筑的洗手盆，实用又美观。

The bedrooms in this apartment are designed with ingenuity and exude unique charm. The master bedroom is cleverly planned with picturesque windows and an attached terrace. Considering the owner's professional needs as a makeup artist, the built-in makeup drawers and countertops were carefully designed, and the structure can also be used as a desk. The Italian stone with herringbone pattern at the bedside is set off by the tall wooden vertical panels behind it. The unique shape and fabric-wrapped coffee table on the terrace further enhances the overall beauty.

公寓的卧室设计独具匠心，散发着独特魅力。主卧规划巧妙，住户可透过窗户欣赏如画风景，附带的露台更是点睛之笔。考虑到业主作为化妆师的职业需求，精心打造了内置化妆抽屉和台面，这一结构还能当作书桌使用。床边采用人字形拼接的意大利石材，与背后高大的木质垂直面板相互映衬。露台上造型独特、织物缠绕的咖啡桌，进一步提升了整体美感。

In the second bedroom, the parents' room is bathed in natural light all day long thanks to a large L-shaped window, and the soft tones make it even warmer. The fluted veneer door adds a classic touch to the entrance, and the white gauze curtains make the space feel lighter. The bold burgundy wallpaper shows the owner's love of art, and the low-key wall panels add a sense of sophistication. The daughter's bedroom is full of soft femininity, and the pink artwork above the bed is particularly eye-catching. The color-coordinated curtains, custom neutral-toned bed and matching side tables allow the pink elements to be cleverly integrated into the space.

次卧中，父母的房间因宽敞的 L 形窗户，整日沐浴在自然光下，柔和的色调更显温馨。凹槽饰面板门为入口增添古典韵味，白色薄纱窗帘让空间更显轻盈。大胆的酒红色壁纸彰显了业主对艺术的热爱，低调的墙面板则增添了精致感。女儿的卧室洋溢着柔美的女性气质，床头粉色调的艺术品格外醒目。色彩协调的窗帘、定制的中性色调床和配套边桌，让粉色元素巧妙融入空间。

Every detail in the project exudes modern elegance. The choice of materials showcases exquisite textures and creates subtle contrasts. The owner's love of art is also integrated into every corner, such as the Pichwai-themed artwork in the prayer room, which adds a touch of sacred art to the space. The Design Mist successfully created a home that showcases thoughtful design by carefully carving out the aesthetics and functionality of the space, taking into account the integrity and individual expression of the space.
