茶本灵草，一叶知心。中国古茶，最早源于5000年前神农时期，以茶解毒。而后随着茶文化的发展，品茶又被称为十大雅事之一。所谓茶道即心道，茶空间多以文人书房为骨，禅宗空寂美学为魂，将茶事升华为一场东方哲学实践。洛书数理、阴阳相济。主茶席区多呈太极阴阳鱼布局，乌木、白瓷，茶器，落座即入阴阳平衡之境。空间动线依《茶经》得"一之源、二之具、三之造、四之器"依次展开，移步换景间重现唐代煮茶、宋代点茶、明代瀹茶的时空之变。冥想参禅，品茗社交，抄经悟道，这些都是茶空间的功能。凤凰三点头、七分满迎客，这是专属中国人的茶礼。此间深意，恰在茶汤将满未满时的道场里。

有人提到：即便是最挑剔的酒店爱好者，也会被桐庐康莱德的自然美景所抚慰。“一山独占一酒店”，其建筑巧妙地隐于群山之中，这种宏伟与私密性在江浙沪的国际品牌度假酒店中颇为罕见。所有建筑错落有致地分布在山间或湖畔，前往大堂的蜿蜒公路上，更带来“山水交错、柳暗花明”的视觉享受。
